Thomas B. Murphy Co-Director Penn State Marcellus Center for Outreach and Research, University Park Mr. Murphy is an Extension Educator with 23 years of field experience working with landowners, government agencies, and public officials while employed with Penn State Cooperative Extension. His work has been namely in the field of agricultural consulting with a more recent emphasis in the natural resource development, specifically in natural gas exploration and leasing. He has lectured throughout Pennsylvania on natural gas related topics including landowner leasing issues, environmental concerns, the drilling process, infrastructure development, and financial considerations. Within the past three years over 15,000 landowners and officials have attended the sessions sponsored by him and his team of colleagues. The program has received recognition in many national media venues including its latest appearance on National Public Radio. Mr Murphy has a B.S. degree from Penn State University. |
