Gregory J. Koppe BJC Managed Care, St. Louis Mr. Gregory J. Koppe is an attorney with more than 30 years' experience in health care and employee benefits law. He has served in a variety of corporate law, government relations and managerial positions for various health care and health care finance organizations, including BJC HealthCare, Great-West Life & Annuity Insurance Company, General American Life Insurance Company, and Blue Cross & Blue Shield United of Wisconsin. From 2000 through 2006 Mr. Koppe served as president of the board of directors of the Missouri Health Insurance Pool, which operates a state-sponsored health plan for Missouri residents who, because of health history, are unable to obtain affordable private health coverage. He also was a board member and secretary and treasurer of the Missouri Small Employer Health Reinsurance Program for more than ten years. Mr. Koppe is a frequent lecturer on topics concerning the design and administration of employee health plans. He earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is admitted to the practice of law in Missouri, Illinois and Wisconsin. |
