Ryan B. Caboot, Esq. Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC, Harrisburg Mr. Caboot is a Member in the Business Division of Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC. His practice is concentrated in the areas of insurance regulatory compliance and general corporate matters. Mr. Caboot routinely assists insurance clients with licensing, redomestication, company transactions involving regulatory review or approval and policy form and rate filings. In addition, he handles clients’ responses to regulatory inquiries, investigations and enforcement actions and provides legal advice in compliance areas such as advertising and marketing, reinsurance arrangements and inter-company transactions. Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, Mr. Caboot served as Department Counsel in the Pennsylvania Insurance Department’s Office of Chief Counsel. Mr. Caboot is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and has served as a mentor for the Governor’s Office of General Counsel Summer Mentorship Program and the Dickinson School of Law Mentorship Program. He also volunteers at the Dauphin County Pro Bono Custody Clinic and serves as the 29th Street Church Director of Music. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, Mr. Caboot received his B.A. (magna cum laude) in History and his B.S. (magna cum laude) in Criminal Justice from the University of Scranton and his J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law. |
