Honorable Charles E.  Ramos New York State Supreme Court Justice, New York County, Commercial Division, New York Honorable Charles E. Ramos, Commercial Division Justice in New York County, is a graduate of New York University and Fordham Law School. He was in private practice before becoming a Judge of the Civil Court of the City of New York in 1983. From 1988 through 1993, Justice Ramos served as an Acting Supreme Court Justice and Presiding Judge of the Civil Court in New York County. Justice Ramos was elected to the Supreme Court in 1993. He has served as a Commercial Division Justice in New York County since 1996. Justice Ramos serves as Chair of the Commercial Law Curriculum Committee.
