Sean Carter Humorist at Law In nearly a decade of law practice after graduating from Harvard Law School, before becoming a legal humorist, Mr. Carter was an attorney with large law firms in Boston and Los Angeles. Most recently, he served as in-house counsel to New Century Mortgage Corporation, the nation’s largest sub-prime mortgage lender. Mr. Carter represented such clients as GNC, Experian, The Boston Beer Company, Homeside Lending, Safelite Auto Glass, J. Crew and many others. In 2002, Mr. Carter left the practice of law to pursue a career as the country’s foremost (and perhaps only) Humorist at Law.
