Richard S. Adler, M.D. is a Board-certified Child, Adolescent & Adult Psychiatrist. He graduated from the Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Washington in 2000. He was a staff psychiatrist at Seattle’s Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center for ten years. Dr. Adler is a graduate of the Parenting Evaluation and Treatment Program (PETP); seminar faculty member Andrew Benjamin, J.D., Ph.D. is the director of PETP. Dr. Adler is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and is the chairman of the Ethics Committee of the Washington State District Branch. He is also a member of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law. Dr. Adler teaches part of the curriculum for the UW School of Medicine Child Psychiatry Residency. He has a clinical and forensic private psychiatric practice and is the founding school psychiatrist for Renton Academy, a specialty school of the Renton School District.
