Hon. Carlos Y.  Velategui King County Superior Court, Seattle Commissioner Carlos Y. Velategui was appointed to the position of Family Law Commissioner in King County in 1986 and he was subsequently appointed to the position of Constitutional Commissioner in 1998. His assignments as a court commissioner have also included juvenile court and the mental health calendar. He is currently assigned to our Ex Parte Department and works at the Regional Justice Center in Kent from time to time.[August 2012]
