Randy Beitel Senior Disciplinary Counsel Washington State Bar Association, Seattle Randy Beitel has been admitted to practice in Washington since 1976. He has been investigating and prosecuting disciplinary matters for the Washington State Bar Association since 1988 and is currently a Senior Disciplinary Counsel in the Office of Disciplinary Counsel where, in addition to prosecuting cases, he manages an investigation/prosecution team. He has frequently been involved in drafting and amending the disciplinary rules, having been the Reporter for the Discipline 2000 Task Force that wrote the Rules for Enforcement of Lawyer Conduct and currently is a member of the ELC Drafting Task Force that is proposing revisions to those rules. He recently served on the Trust Account Retainers and Responsibility Task Force that proposed the new rules related to advance fees.[March 2011] |
