Carol Durgy Brooks CATIC Title Insurance Company, Manchester Carol Durgy Brooks, Program Chair/CLE Committee Member is State Title Counsel for CATIC (Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Company) in the Manchester, NH office where she has more than twenty-six years of experience in title searching, closings and title insurance: underwriting, claims and legal education. She received a B.A. from Bridgewater College, VA, an M.S.T. from Antioch New England and a J.D. from Franklin Pierce Law Center. Carol is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, the Merrimack County Bar Association and the NHBA’s Real Property Section. She was a founding member of the New Hampshire Title Association and served as President from 1989-1990. Carol previously served as Chair of the Real Property Section and is currently chair of the Real Property Title Standards Committee. She is a frequent seminar speaker on a variety of real property topics for the New Hampshire Bar Association, New Hampshire Mortgage Bankers Association, New Hampshire Land Surveyors Association and other professional groups.
