Carolyn H. Kerr Missouri Department of Insurance, Jefferson City Ms. Carolyn Kerr received her B.J. degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia (UMC) in 1993, and her JD from UMC in 1996. After working in private practice for a year, she worked for the Litigation Section of the Missouri Dept. of Social Services. She began working at the Missouri Dept. of Insurance, Financial Institutions & Professional Registration (DIFP) in 2001. Currently, she is Senior Counsel for the Market Conduct Section of the Department. She is also the co-author of Chapter 3 (sections III. and IV.) of the Missouri Bar CLE deskbook, “Insurance Practice” (5th edition).
