James A. Johnson, Esq. Pennsylvania Department of Insurance, Harrisburg Mr. Johnson joined the Pennsylvania Insurance Department as Chief Hearing Officer in May 1997. In this position, he oversees the operations of the Administrative Hearings Office which receives filings, conducts hearings and prepares adjudications in matters concerning insurance laws and regulations. Prior to joining the Insurance Department, he was a partner in the law firm of Johnson, Duffie, Stewart and Weidner in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania.
