James A. Wellons, Esq. Temple University Health System, Philadelphia Mr. Wellons is Associate Counsel at Temple University Health System, Inc. in Philadelphia, where he has been a member of the legal team for more than five years. His practice focuses on software licenses, professional services, procurement, and other transactional matters. In addition, Mr. Wellons advises clients on corporate policy and practice issues. Mr. Wellons serves as Corporate Secretary for the North Philadelphia Financial Partnership – a community based nonprofit corporation designed to facilitate economic empowerment and employment opportunities within the North Central Philadelphia Empowerment Zone. Mr. Wellons has over 15 years of transactional experience, and he has worked on software licenses throughout his career. Mr. Wellons received his Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Political Science and African-American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association, and he is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
