Kevin E. Raphael, Esq. Pietragallo, Gordon, Alfano, Bosick & Raspanti, LLP, Philadelphia Mr. Raphael, a former Philadelphia prosecutor, is a veteran of hundreds of bench and jury trials. He focuses his national practice on white collar criminal defense, criminal and civil health care fraud defense, complex commercial litigation, professional licensing litigation, health care law, and liquor licensing litigation. Mr. Raphael handles a wide variety of white collar criminal matters, including Food and Drug Administration criminal investigations, public corruption, health care fraud and tax fraud. He represents corporate officers and employees, health care practices, licensed professionals, government officials, small business owners and corporate entities. Mr. Raphael is co-author of “Investigations,” in Medicare and Medicaid Fraud (Alice G. Gosfield ed., 2005, 2006, and 2007 ed.). He speaks and writes frequently on fraud, criminal defense and corporate compliance issues. Mr. Raphael is a member of the Steering Committee of the American Bar Association Mid-Atlantic White Collar Crime Committee. He served for four years as President of the Board of Northwest Victims Services, a non-profit victim advocacy organization in Philadelphia. He is a member of the American and Philadelphia Bar Associations, as well as the American Health Lawyers Association and the Health Care Compliance Association. Mr. Raphael has been selected by his peers, and Law & Politics Magazine, as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, Rising Star for 2005 and 2006 in the field of white collar criminal defense. Mr. Raphael received his B.A. magna cum laude from St. Lawrence University, Phi Beta Kappa, and his J.D. cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. |
