Mary Ann Petrillo, Esq.

Mary Ann Petrillo is a sole practitioner with an office located in Irwin. She has a multi-county practice with an emphasis in adoption, estate planning, and probate. Ms. Petrillo is a summa cum laude graduate of Mercyhurst College and received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Prior to returning to the full-time practice of law, Ms. Petrillo was the Adoption Department Coordinator for the Orphans’ and Juvenile Courts of Allegheny County. In that capacity, Ms. Petrillo reviewed and supervised hundreds of adoptions before the court to assure both the timely processing, scheduling, and adherence of the pleadings to local, state, and federal statutes. Ms. Petrillo has given her input to both state and federal legislators and reviewed pending legislation at their request. She also lectures on adoption issues on behalf of area agencies and the Westmoreland and Allegheny County Bar Associations. She offers yearly Adoption Options Conferences to the public, which have resulted in numerous adoptive placements for area families. Ms. Petrillo is an advocate for children and families. She is active with the Norwin Chamber of Commerce and other local charitable organizations.
