Cheryl M. Heuett Auditor, Washington State Bar Association Washington State Bar Association, Seattle, WA Cheryl M. Heuett is a WSBA Senior Auditor. Her duties include conducting for-cause audits, investigating trust account overdrafts, and performing occasional random examinations. She monitors lawyers in diversion or on probation for trust-related violations. She educates lawyers about the trust-account rules and regulations by responding to lawyer phone calls or e-mail questions and speaks at several CLEs throughout the year. She received her B.A. from Boise State University (1981) and her J.D. from the University of Idaho (1984). She worked as a staff accountant at a small CPA firm for five years prior to joining the auditing staff at WSBA in 2005.[April 2012]
