Mr. Gold is a Partner at the Harrisburg law firm of Rhoads & Sinon LLP and is the Administrative Chair of Rhoads & Sinon LLP s employment and labor practice. Mr. Gold s employment and labor practice focuses on representing public and private employers in all aspects of employment and labor law, including the defense of discrimination and wrongful discharge claims; negotiation, drafting and enforcement of employment contracts; drafting of employment handbooks and policies; and providing advice and counsel regarding wage and hour issues, unemployment compensation claims, labor arbitrations, collective bargaining agreements, union elections and unfair labor practices. Mr. Gold also serves as a founding member of the technology/intellectual property law group, where he advises clients on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights under trademark, trade secret and copyright law and on emerging technology issues involving the Internet. Mr. Gold has been featured in the national media for his sports representation practice, including the USA Today, Los Angeles Times and New York Daily News. Mr. Gold is also a frequent lecturer and writer and has spoken and written on both labor and employment, sports law, and intellectual property and technology issues for various national organizations. Mr. Gold received his Bachelor of Arts and graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany and received his Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law. Mr. Gold was Circulation Manager of Widener’s law review, the Widener Journal of Public Law. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Gold served as a Staff Attorney in the Office of United States Congressman George W. Gekas. Mr. Gold joined Rhoads & Sinon LLP in 1995.
