Terry Thurbon

Terry L. Thurbon is the Chief Administrative Law Judge for the Office of Administrative Hearings, the State of Alaska’s independent central hearing panel created under legislation passed in 2004. She has worked in administrative law and other fields related to the office’s functions for nearly 20 years, beginning with work at the Institute for Administrative Justice, which trains hearing officers, and continuing with teaching at McGeorge School of Law, private practice with Robertson, Monagle & Eastaugh in Juneau, Alaska, and, most recently, as an Assistant Attorney General working in the Environmental Section of the Department of Law. Ms. Thurbon received her J.D. from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
