Jonathan H. Lander, JD, LLM PNC Wealth Management, Doylestown Mr. Lander, based in Philadelphia and Doylestown, Pennsylvania, is a Senior Wealth Planner in the Wealth Planning Group of PNC Advisors. Jonathan’s concentration is in the areas of complex financial, estate and business succession planning issues with special emphasis on the taxation of estates and trusts. Mr. Lander started his career in 1987 in the New York Office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges, as an Associate in the Trusts and Estates Department. In 1990 Jonathan moved to the New York Office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom where he worked in the Trusts and Estates Department. In 1996, he joined the Philadelphia Office of Duane Morris, LLP and in 1997 became a Partner in the Estates and Asset Planning Group. Most recently prior to joining PNC Advisors, Jonathan was Of Counsel to the Private Client Group (formerly the Tax and Fiduciary Department) of the Philadelphia Office of Blank Rome LLP. Although no longer engaged in the active practice of law, Jonathan is a member of the Bars of the States of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Connecticut and the Bar of the United States Tax Court. Mr. Lander earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Drew University. He received a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Albany Law School of Union University and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Taxation from New York University School of Law. Jonathan is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Lander is a member of the American Bar Association (currently serving as Chair of the Real Property and Probate and Trust Law Section’s Fiduciary Income Tax Committee) as well as the Philadelphia and New York State Bar Associations. Mr. Lander is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Villanova Law School where he teaches estate planning in the Graduate Tax Program. |
