David Rudenstein, a life-long Philadelphia resident, is a 1977 graduate of La Salle University and a 1980 graduate of the Temple Law School. Mr. Rudenstein began his legal career in Haddonfield, New Jersey and worked there, for a general practice, for three years. He thereafter left the firm and opened his own law offices in Philadelphia and Merchantville, New Jersey. Mr. Rudenstein concentrates his practice in the area of criminal defense and, more specifically, in the defense of homicide cases and capital homicide matters. Mr. Rudenstein has tried more than 250 jury trials, at least 130 of which were murder cases. He has filed hundreds of direct appeals and post-conviction petitions and appears regularly in and before the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, the Pennsylvania Superior Court and the Federal District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. He has presented cases to at least 35 penalty phase juries. Some of his more notable cases include the Krass Brothers murder case, the “Young Guns” murder case and representation of Mrs. Marie Noe, who eventually pled guilty to eight counts of third degree murder for the killing of her children and received probation and house arrest as a sentence.
