Mr. Baker represents employers in the areas of labor and employment law, noncompetition enforcement, employment retaliation, and employment discrimination. He also provides training, advice, and counsel to help those employers manage their employees while avoids unnecessary conflicts and limiting any potential exposure. Prior to joining Fisher & Phillips, Mr. Baker represented employers at two different general litigation firms in Oregon, defending them in lawsuits ranging from employment claims and trade secret violations to breach of contract and tort claims. Mr. Baker has also represented employers defending workers’ compensation injury claims and wrongful death claims. He is a member of the Labor and Employment Section of both the Oregon State Bar and the American Bar Association.
