Peter G. Beeson Devine, Millimet & Branch, PA, Manchester Peter G. Beeson is a shareholder at Devine, Millimet & Branch, PA in Concord, NH where he is co-chair of the firm’s Attorney Conduct, Liability and Professionalism Practice Group - - which publishes regular issues of The Advisory on the Law of Lawyering in New Hampshire to members of the New Hampshire Bar - - and is a member of the firm’s internal Professionalism Committee. He earned his B.A. from Yale University and his J.D. from Cornell Law School. Peter is a trial attorney with thirty years experience. He has defended law firms and lawyers in legal malpractice actions and disciplinary proceedings since leaving the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office approximately fifteen years ago. He is a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers and the American Bar Association’s Center for Professional Responsibility. He writes and speaks regularly on professional responsibility, ethics and lawyer liability matters. Peter is a member of the NHBA’s Ethics Committee; has served as an adjunct professor at the University of New Hampshire School of Law in legal malpractice and risk avoidance; and is on the Steering Committee for the Campaign for Legal Services and the combined Board of Directors of New Hampshire Legal Assistance and the Legal Advice and Referral Center.
