Ms. Rehman worked with the Crown Prosecutor’s office in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, for a year before moving to Portland. She spent six years as a public defender with Multnomah Defenders, Inc., representing parents and children in criminal and juvenile cases. She is a senior assistant attorney general with the Oregon Department of Justice Civil Enforcement Division.
