Leslie Wizelman, Esq., CELA Law Office of Leslie Wizelman, Wyalusing Ms. Wizelman is a certified elder law attorney whose principal areas of practice include long term and life care planning, guardianship proceedings, real estate, and estate planning and administration. She has been practicing law in Wyalusing since 1983. Ms. Wizelman is certified as an elder law attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. She also is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and serves on the Elder Law Council as chair for the Elder Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She received her B.A. from Dickinson College (summa cum laude, 1976) and her J.D. from Cornell Law School (cum laude, 1981). Ms. Wizelman served on the staff of the U.S. Congressional House Select Committee on Assassinations, 1977-1979 and is a member of Bradford County, Pennsylvania, New York and Florida. Ms. Wizelman is a frequent lecturer to healthcare professionals, retirement groups and other professional organizations on the rights of the elderly, long term care planning, living wills and trusts and estate planning. She is past president of the Greater Wyalusing Chamber of Commerce, currently serving on its board of directors, serves on the Professional Advisory Committee of the Greater Pennsylvania Chapter Alzheimer’s Association and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She also serves as director of the Wyalusing Industrial Development Authority and of the Wyalusing Community Corporation. |
