Marc J. Sonnenfeld, Esq. Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, Philadelphia Mr. Sonnenfeld is a litigation partner in the Philadelphia office of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, where he heads the securities litigation practice. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has been named one of the top ten business litigators in Philadelphia in The Best Lawyers in American’s editions from 1997 to the present. Mr. Sonnenfeld is included in Chambers USA, American’s Leading Business Lawyers Directory. He recently was selected by Philadelphia Magazine as one of the 100 ”Pennsylvania Superlawyers”. His practice focuses on defending securities and shareholder litigation, as well as counseling directors and officers on corporate governance issues. Mr. Sonnenfeld has been on the faculty for the Practicing Law Institute’s annual Securities Litigation Seminar in New York in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. He has served in a variety of leadership roles in the Philadelphia Bar Association, including chair of its Board of Governors and co-chair of its Business Court Task Force, which developed the Commerce Case Program of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Mr. Sonnenfeld is a 1968 graduate of Swarthmore College and a 1971 graduate of Harvard Law School. He served as a law clerk to The Honorable Joseph S. Lord, III, then chief judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, in 1972. Mr. Sonnenfeld serves on the Board of Managers of Swarthmore College and on the Board of Trustees of the American Inns of Court Foundation. |
