Mr. Richter has helped hundreds of clients resolve their legal problems through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and jury trials. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the International Association of Defense Counsel and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. Mr. Richter is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. He is an adjunct professor at Lewis and Clark Law School, where he teaches trial advocacy. He also teaches trial advocacy for the Oregon State Bar and cofounded the Oregon State Bar Trial Advocacy College. He has served on the board of directors of the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel and the Commercial Litigation Section of the Oregon State Bar, as a judge pro tempore for the Multnomah County Circuit Court, and on several subcommittees of the American Bar Association Litigation Section.
