Judge Brownhill was in private practice as an attorney with a family and juvenile law practice until her appointment to the bench in 1994. She chairs the statewide Firearms and Domestic Violence Task Force, the State Family Law Advisory Committee, and the Clatsop County Juvenile Dependency Team. Judge Brownhill serves on the Clatsop County Domestic Violence Council and chaired a workgroup that developed local protocols to take guns away from batterers. (05/10)
