Gary Griffith Director West Virginia Insurance Commission Fraud Unit Gary Griffith received a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Glenville State College and earned his M.S. in Safety from Marshall University. Mr. Griffith attended the West Virginia State Police Academy where he was the class valedictorian. He also attended the F.B.I. National Academy. Mr. Griffith is a member of the West Virginia Trooper’s Association and the F.B.I. National Academy of Associates. Mr. Griffith has taught as an adjunct member of West Virginia University’s faculty at Parkersburg in the Criminal Justice Program. He is also the deputy superintendent of the West Virginia State Police and the Director of the West Virginia State Department - Criminal Investigation Division.
