Phillip E. Johnson, Esquire is a partner in the Augusta litigation firm of Johnson & Webbert, LLP, where he specializes in aviation, employment and personal injury litigation. He also specializes in, and frequently serves as an expert consultant on, the professional responsibility of lawyers. He has served on the Professional Ethics Commission of the Board of Overseers of the Bar since January 1, 2000, and as the Commissionís Chair since January 1, 2003. Since 1994, he has authored over 75 articles on professional responsibility for the Maine Lawyers Review, and has both authored and co-authored The Ethical Lawyer newsletter published by the Maine State Bar Association.
