Mr. Alleva is manager and clerk of the Family Court Division of the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas and has been with the court system since 1977 (Civil Prothonotary) and with the Family Court Division since 1979. He started in Family Court with the Divorce Unit, which at that time started processing domestic violence cases. While in the Divorce Unit, he became responsible for maintaining Motion Court, processing all Motion Court petitions for divorce cases, docketing and scheduling of cases, and going to court as the court’s representative. In 1991, the Divorce Office consolidated with Support and Custody Processing, and Mr. Alleva became supervisor there in 1993. He was deputized as prothonotary in 1994. Mr. Alleva is a graduate of Central High School and Villanova University.
