Mr. Pokotilow is a member of the firm of Caesar, Rivise, Bernstein, Cohen & Pokotilow, Ltd. He was a patent examiner in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, in the field of digital computers. His practice consists of all aspects of intellectual property law, and he specializes in litigation involving the enforcement of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. He also devotes a considerable portion of his practice to consultation in patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and computer matters, and in the registration of trademarks. Mr. Pokotilow has been lead intellectual property counsel in many landmark cases involving patents, trademarks, and copyrights, including Donsco Inc. v. Casper Corp., Apple Computer v. Franklin Computer, and Wawa, Inc. v. HaHa. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s Intellectual Property Advisory Board and has lectured throughout the United States on many areas of intellectual property, including how to try intellectual property cases. He received his undergraduate degree from Newark College of Engineering in 1960, and his J.D. from American University in 1964.
