Mr. Friedenberg focuses his practice on guardianships, conservatorships, probate estates, long-term care cost planning (including Medicaid), and trust and estate administration. He also advises clients on estate planning and inheritance/estate tax. He is one of the original members of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Mr. Friedenberg has served on committees that drafted the guardianship and conservatorship statutes, drafted the probate accounting rules, prepared the Oregon Trust Code statutes, and reviewed proposed Medicaid rules. He is a member and former chair of the Oregon State Bar Elder Law Section Agency and Professional Relations Committee, a member of the Elder Law Section Executive Committee, a former member of the Oregon State Bar Uniform Trial Court Rules Committee, and a member of the Multnomah County Probate Advisory Committee.
