Laura Murphy Adjunct Professor Seattle University School of Law, Seattle, WA Laura Murphy is Adjunct Professor at Seattle University School of Law, teaching Compliance Management and Organizational Leadership. Prior to joining SU, Laura was Chief Regulatory and Compliance Officer and Associate General Counsel for Safeco. There Laura provided legal advice on business operations, and was responsible for class action and complex litigation; compliance programs and audits; regulatory matters and disputes; and company responses to government investigations and inquiries. She also served as Legal Officer on the corporation’s risk committees. Laura is a graduate of Northwestern University and Georgetown University Law Center.
