Honorable William J. Elfving Judge Santa Clara County Superior Court Honorable William J. Elfving was appointed to Santa Clara County Superior Court on November 13, 1997. Before taking the bench, Judge Elfving was a partner with Hoge, Fenton, Jones and Appel, Inc. for thirty years. As a practicing lawyer he had extensive experience in arbitration, mediation and settlement conference. He is the chair of the Superior Court Arbitration/ADR Committee.
