Honorable Jeremy Fogel Judge Santa Clara County Superior Court Honorable Jeremy Fogel received his Bachelor of Arts with Great Distinction from Stanford University in 1971, major in Religious Studies. He received his Juris Doctor Cum laude from Harvard University in 1974. Judge Fogel was admitted to practice in California in 1974 and was in private practice in San Jose from 1974-78. He is Founder and was Directing Attorney of Mental Health Advocacy Project, Santa Clara County Bar Association Law Foundation from 1978-81 and was Executive Director of Santa Clara County Bar Association Law Foundation from 1980-81.Judge Fogel was appointed to the Santa Clara County Municipal Court in 1981, and appointed to the Santa Clara Superior Court in 1986. He has been a U.S. District Judge since 1998. In 1997, he received the President's Award for Outstanding Service to the California Judiciary, California Judges Association; Judge of the Year Award, Consumer Attorneys of Santa Clara County; and, "LACY Honors" Award, Legal Advocates for Children and Youth, Santa Clara County Bar Association Law Foundation.
