William F. Haug

Mr. Haug is a partner with Jennings, Haug & Cunningham, LLP. He is a native Arizonan and a graduate of the University of Arizona (B.S. in B.P.A. 1953; LL.B. 1956). Mr. Haug served as president of the Maricopa County Bar Association (1974-1975); president of the State Bar of Arizona (1982-1983); president of the Arizona Bar Foundation (1994), and has served for some time on the State Barís Board of Governors. He served as secretary and financial officer of the Tort and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association; chairman of the Fidelity and Surety Committee of the Tort & Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association; vice chairman of the Forum Committee on the Construction Industry of the ABA, and as case note editor for the ABA publication, The Construction Lawyer. Mr. Haug is a recipient of the Martin J. Andrew Award for Lifetime Achievement in Fidelity and Surety Law, presented by the Fidelity and Surety Committee of the Torts and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association (2001). He has authored and co-authored numerous construction and surety related statutes, articles, chapters and seminar materials and remains fully engaged in the practice of law, primarily in fidelity and surety law practice, with emphasis in construction and mechanics lien litigation and arbitration. His practice also includes architect and engineer malpractice claims, and all types of commercial litigation.
