Michael G. Galloway is a partner in the Phoenix office of the law firm of Quarles & Brady Streich Lang LLP. His practice is in state and local taxation, tax litigation and governmental relations, and he is a Certified Tax Specialist through the Arizona Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Galloway is a member of the Tax Section of the State Bar of Arizona and is currently the Chairman its Executive Council. He is also a member of the Tax Section, State and Local Tax Committee and Subcommittee on Income and Franchise Taxation of the American Bar Association, and the Tax Section of the State Bar of California. Mr. Galloway is a member of the Board of Directors and Tax Practitioner’s Committee of the Arizona Tax Research Association and Vice Chairman of the Tax Committee of the Arizona Association of Industries. He is a frequent speaker at professional seminars on state and local taxation and is a writer for the RIA State and Local Taxes Weekly and State Tax Notes. Prior to entering private law practice, Mr. Galloway was a tax hearing officer and the chief hearing officer for the city of Phoenix, and was a member of the tax department of Deloitte and Touche in Los Angeles.
