Take part in a lively discussion and come away with a better understanding of the FDCPA and the Ethics Rules.

Often the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act requires just what the Arizona Rules of Professional Conduct do, but sometimes requires more. After presenting an overview of the FDCPA and the Ethics Rules, the faculty will explore the similarities and differences between the FDCPA and the Ethics Rules, discuss hypotheticals illustrating common FDCPA and ethical violations, and offer procedures to protect attorneys from committing violations.
