Mental health issues abound at the guilt-innocence and penalty phases of a capital case. Counsel in such a case must be aware of the law addressing mental health evidence, the defenses such evidence may implicate, and the use of such evidence in seeking to establish mitigation. This new seminar will provide expert guidance on the investigation, discovery and presentation of mental health evidence in capital cases.
